About Us

Here at Belmont Deli we are committed to give our valley the type of food that we grew up on and enjoyed from all the places that call home.

We strive to give you the best deli foods and kosher products, especially the ones imported from New York.

Belmont Deli Story

I have one man to thank for the success of Belmont Deli, my father Phil Rindone.

My father passed away last year after 88 years of enjoying life and 62 years of marriage to my mother. Growing up with tales of glory featuring legendary horses such as Sea Biscuit and Man of War, horseracing has been with me since the day I was born.  Every year we would gather around the Black and White TV, to watch the big three, The Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont stakes races.  My favorite was always the Belmont as the longest and most enduring race. In my mind I thought to win the longest race at a mile and a half meant that the horse had to be the best in the world.
The other passion my Dad had was Delis and the unique authentic products only they deliver.  He would talk about delis with my Uncle Joe and my grandfather. Reliving memories of going to the best deli’s in New York City and getting some of the best Corned Beef and Pastrami Sandwich’s they have ever tasted. Our own sandwich ‘Phil’s in Front’ is named after my father, as is my 2 year old thoroughbred down in Ocala, Florida which will see its first race in October of 2011.
